Adopting a Bully or Pit Bull from Crump’s Bullies is simple and transparent. We want to match our dogs with loving homes, so we’ve streamlined the process into clear steps. Read on to learn how to reserve, prepare for, and welcome your new family member.

Submit an Adoption Application

Begin by completing our online adoption application. We’ll ask for basic information—your name, address, lifestyle, and experience with dogs. This helps us ensure each puppy goes to a home that fits its needs and energy level.

⇒  Review and Approval

Once we receive your application, our team reviews it within 48 hours. If we need more details, we’ll reach out for a brief phone interview or ask for references. Approval depends on your living situation, fencing, and commitment to proper Bully care.

⇒  Reservation Deposit

After approval, you can choose your puppy from available litters. A $500 deposit (refundable up to 48 hours) holds your spot. You’ll receive a copy of the adoption contract – review it, sign electronically, and return it to us. The deposit guarantees your puppy won’t be offered elsewhere.

Puppy Preparation and Health Check

Every puppy leaves our home up to date on vaccines, deworming, and a full health exam by a licensed veterinarian. We microchip each pup and begin basic socialization so they’re ready for family life. You’ll receive a health record and care instructions to share with your own vet.

Final Payment and Pickup or Shipping

Your balance is due when your puppy turns 8 weeks old. You can pay by credit card, bank transfer, or cash if you pick up in person.

  • Local Pickup (Georgia): Schedule a time to meet us at our 7.5-acre facility. We’ll walk you through feeding routines, training tips, and any remaining questions.
  • Domestic Shipping: We partner with experienced, climate-controlled pet shippers. You cover the shipping fee, and we handle all logistics—health certificates, flight arrangements, and on-time delivery to your front door.
  • International Adoption: For buyers outside the U.S., we arrange flights and customs paperwork. A larger deposit covers additional veterinary clearances and export documentation.

Bringing Your Puppy Home

Before your puppy arrives, prepare a safe space with a crate or bed, food and water bowls, high-quality puppy food, and a few toys. Puppy-proof your home by removing hazards – small objects, electrical cords, and toxic plants.

Post-Adoption Support

We’re here for you after adoption. Expect follow-up calls or emails to check on your pup’s adjustment. If you have questions about feeding, training, or health, just reach out. Our lifetime breeder support means you have a reliable partner for advice as your Bully grows.

Returning a Puppy (If Needed)

We understand sometimes circumstances change. If you ever need to rehome your Bully, please contact us first. Our contract requires puppies be returned to Crump’s Bullies – not a shelter – so we can find them a new, loving home.

By following these steps—application, reservation, health checks, and post-adoption care – you’ll enjoy a smooth adoption experience. We take every measure to ensure our Bullies and Pit Bulls become well-adjusted, healthy, and cherished members of your family.
